I was in Sydney recently so I thought I should visit Sydney Observatory..too bad it was closed. Good part about Sydney sky is that despite of so many lights, you can still clearly see the southern cross or the crux. In the southern hemisphere, the Southern Cross used to be probably the most important constellation in old times, as sailors used it and the pointers to determine location of the south pole.
